This photo was posted on President Barack Obama's Twitter feed after the election with the caption "Four more years." Quickly, it became the most popular image in the history of Twitter & Facebook! I "retweeted" it myself that night! It was my first tweet **EVER** (as I don't know what to do with Twitter yet... I will learn as I go...ha ha) !

One word is on my mind this morning, and it's "Forward!" Hopefully, we can all come together and go forward!

I try to avoid politics in this space, but I can't seem to do that today... Thanks for indulging me. When you're happy, it's really hard to keep it to yourself! You want to shout out loud! You know, I really enjoyed President Obama's speech this morning. It was one of inclusion.

The ladies on the Ebony cover star in the movie, "Sparkle". It's Whitney Houston's last film. Can't wait to learn more about it.

September issues of fashion magazines are usually bigger than all the rest. Can't wait to dive into these. I love to look at all the eye candy, including the ads (and there's a ton)! Plus, the magazines are so heavy that you can use them for a weapon after you're done - - if you can lift them! LOL.

Well, now you know what I'll be doing this weekend. How about you?

More on Taylor Swift...

Yesterday, I talked about Taylor Swift's catchy new tune: "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together". I looked around a bit more on "You Tube" and found a live web chat that she did with fans on Monday (8/13/12). I'll put it here as well.

It's fun to see how genuinely excited she is about her music and her life! Taylor answers questions from people in the audience, and talks about her upcoming album, RED. The new album features 16 songs & will be released on 10/22/12.

I love Taylor Swift's new song!

This week I woke up to the funniest song playing on my radio! It absolutely put a smile on my face! The chorus was so catchy and relatable. 

I can hear it now:

We are never ever ever ever getting back together

Haven't you ever dated anyone who was an absolute pain? Oh my goodness! This song reminds me of some of the feelings I had when I was younger. (I can't say that I miss those days. LOL.)

I made a mental note to find out who sang the song. Unfortunately, the song was followed by commercials, so the artist wasn't mentioned. To my delight, the next day I found out it was Taylor Swift. I think she's incredibly talented. 

"We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" was just released this week! Here is the video:

How fun is that? We've all been there, right? I'm so glad that I don't have to date anymore. LOL.
