Below is a link to an article I read online. It includes a clip of her performing the national anthem at the Super Bowl. I remember that moment, and that's how I choose to remember her. Hold your loved ones close...you never know how long you have with them. Sadly, I know that from personal experience (and perhaps you do, too).

Yes ~ this is such a tragedy. I remember the first time I saw her on MTV in the 80's ~ you couldn't help but get chills each time she sang. I pray she's finally found the peace she deserved her whole life.
